Performance from Price action

It is always exciting to see how a trader is doing in his trading. Especially if this trader is posting his trades in public. So we have asked Claus Andersen if he could make a video of the development of his account.

The result of his trading is amazing and you can see the performance in the video in the article. How ever it’s important remembering a few details when wathing a traders performance. One important factor is the so called “Draw down” (often referred to as DD). As Claus mentions in the video he has seen a couple of DD’s of about 30% of his account. And several times he had 15-20% DD. This is the kind of volatility that would be expected in a high performing account. If you see a trader making 10-15% per month there will also be larger draw downs.

And as Claus mentions in the video this can be a tough mental issue to deal with if you in one day lose the profit from the last 2-3 weeks.
The reason the performance record starts in February is that this was the time Claus started writing for us and we wanted to see a picture of the performance from the trades he published on our site.

But see for your self in this video
